3A pretty wall-hangerDec 24, 2013

This impressive-looking knife, which was made in Pakistan, has a comfortable handle made of exotic hardwood and comes with a handsome fit and finish. I have no complaints about the leather sheath. I actually x-rayed the knife, (see customer-submitted images) and found that the tang only extends about an inch or so into the handle material, and is only pierced by a single one of the brass pins. There appeared to be some adhesive (epoxy?) surrounding the tang to hold it in place, which isn't a bad thing, but the design was not a particularly sturdy one, especially for a blade of this size. If you're looking for a nice-looking knife at a nice price, then this is the one. If you're looking for something that you can sharpen up and use with confidence, then you might want to look elsewhere.

Tommy did well on this frontier era fighting knife. Concealed down the back of your shirt or on you belt it is a fine piece of equipment. Not only good looking but good for the purpose it was intented. Excellent knife and at a reasonable price.

5Tommy Goff Arkansas ToothpickApr 10, 2013

I saw the original done by Tommy and it was beautiful.I didn't have the funds to by an original, but a close friend bought one of the originals for $2200.00.Since then Tommy Goff sold the design to SMKW. I bought one under their license to manufacture some of Tommy's knives. It too is a beautiful rendition and I am very pleased with it.When I purchased this knife,I was told by the good people at SMKW that what they had in stock were all the Tommy Goff knives they were going to get.So I purchased two other Tommy Goff knives.I can not tell the difference in the original and this knife,it's that good.If you are a fan of Tommy Goff you may want to get one while they last.Tommy was a master at this style knife, and his knowledge of the originals was unmatched in my humble opinion...
